A Day for Daddy

Today is such a fun day for us ladies.  We get to shower the precious man in our lives with extra love and presents and make this day all about him.  And boy does he deserve it!  I can’t imagine there was ever a father more deserving of a day for him.

Our Valentine’s Day

We had such a special Valentine’s Day! The girls loved the treats and Valentines they found in their heart pockets.  Here is a little peek at our morning.

Personalized Heart Banners for Valentines Day

While flipping through the Pottery Barn Kids catalog, I’ve seen on several occasions those really cute holiday bags that you can tie to the backs of dining room chairs.  For example, for Thanksgiving last year I saw a turkey that you could hang.  It could be personalized with your child’s name and doubled as a pocket […]

A Very Ferguson Christmas

I hope your Christmas was filled with love and happiness! Our family is still building traditions. Our children have loved learning about the most important part of Christmas, which brings so much joy to my heart. Willow points out every nativity she sees and says, “There’s Marwy, Jofus, and baby Jesus!” Chloe has loved learning […]

Fairies

Merry Christmas Eve! All the gifts are wrapped!  I wasn’t sure if I could pull it off.  I doubted myself a bit that I could make all the gifts this year.  But they are done!  It has really put a whole new spin on the excitement about giving gifts.  I just can’t wait!! And now […]

Treasure Hunt

It’s almost time!!! Only a few days left…. In our house there is not much else that we are talking about right now.  Just Christmas.  I can hardly say, “just.”  Christmas is so much fun!  We have been working on all our gifts and are just about finished.

The Gingerbread Disaster, I mean, House

Today the girls and I made our gingerbread house. I had planned to buy a mold and bake from scratch, but it completely slipped my mind, so I bought a kit. When I got home from the store this morning, Willow was so excited to see the gingerbread kit that she carried it all over […]

Going Green for Christmas

If there’s one thing that I don’t really like it’s waste. I recycle, compost, and try to make our family as waste free as possible. Christmas mornings are full of wonderful excitement and gift opening and togetherness, but also…waste. This year I had planned to make all of the gift wrap for our gifts that […]

Smile!

This past week I have had lots of requests for Christmas portrait appointments for my photography business. At the same time, we have done our own family pictures, and I thought I’d share them with you here.
