Happy school year to all those sweet children who started back this week! The official start of our school year will be the first week of September. We are still enjoying the sunshine and coming up with fun activities to do. Sometimes it’s tough to find activities for the older ones that are conducive to life with a newborn. But today we raided the bathroom closet and found something super fun to get our hands in…Shaving Cream!
Little Bubs enjoyed a moment of peace in his little bed while his sisters and I immersed ourselves in a tactile adventure…and got a tad messy.
We sprayed it.
We squished it.
We wiped it.
We pretended with it.
We molded it.
We smeared it.
We drew pictures in it.
We wiped it on our sisters.
We cleaned it up….and then got in the pool to get it out of our hair.
I wish everyone a blessed beginning to the school year! This mama is busily preparing lesson plans and getting geared up for an exciting year for our sweet kindergartner and first grader. 🙂
