I made something oh so super tasty the other day! I was in the kitchen, about to make dinner and I thought I’d do something a little different than I normally do.
I’m a meat, potatoes, veggie kinda gal. I just love that combination. I do other meals too of course, and I LOVE me some salad, but meat, potatoes, and veggies are super delish.
Okay, so I baked the chicken and covered it with BBQ sauce. Just the mere thought of barbecue sauce makes my mouth water and my tummy growl. Everyone has a favorite BBQ sauce. Mine is Sweet Baby Ray’s. Mmmm Mmm! So, tasty–sweet and a little tingly. Good stuff!!!
I baked it until it was almost done…about 7 minutes to go.
I pulled it out, all sizzling and smellin’ good! Then, I wrapped each little chickie in a crescent roll and popped the baking dish back in the oven to let it all cook. I did use a fresh dish so they wouldn’t be all soggy. I wanted them to be a little crispy. When the crescent rolls were golden brown I pulled them out of the oven.
I topped them with a Colby jack cheddar cheese blend and some green onions straight from our garden and voila!

I think this is going to be a new family favorite!
